This work is anchored in the The First Breath Methodology (FBM):
a transformative, emergent framework for repair, integration, and cultural renewal. It weaves together somatics, ancestral wisdom, storytelling, and systems change to guide individuals and communities through processes of personal and collective liberation.

At the heart of this work are the Seven Portals and Seven Foundations of Liberation. The Portals open pathways to expanded awareness, care, and creative visioning, while the Foundations offer grounded, embodied practices for cultural transformation. Together, they form a living framework for reclaiming worth, restoring connection, and imagining new ways of being.

👉🏼 We use these FSSL Community Guidelines—inspired by the work of Resmaa Menakem, Open Table MT, and Penénlope Baquero.

Seven Portals of Liberation

The Seven Portals of Liberation are energetic gateways that guide us into deeper connection with self, others, the Earth, and the cosmos. Each portal offers a unique dimension of transformation and is a doorway into how we dream, connect, and create.

Reconnecting with the Earth, ancestors, and the vast intelligence of the universe. Restoring belonging through grounded presence and celestial wonder.

💃 Embodiment

🌀 Quantum Reality & Multidimensionality
Exploring nonlinear time, inner child healing, and ancestral integration. Engaging the psyche, dreams, and subtle realms as sites of transformation.

🎭 Art & Storytelling

About Heidi J Cardoza

I am a genderqueer artist, producer, liberation facilitator, and scientist with over 25 years of experience in personal and collective transformation. I’m a disability advocate and a lover of cosmology, deeply rooted in psychobiological integration—releasing supremacy, shame, fear, and scarcity through the body—and committed to creative liberation work.

My artistic path weaves together comedy, drag, music, dance, theater, storytelling, and singing. I live with my tiny fox-dog, Peanut, on the homelands of the Salish, Kootenai, and Blackfeet peoples—currently called Missoula, Montana—where I share the land with many non-human relatives.

I’m the founder of Free System – Sistema Libre, a liberation-centered business blending embodiment, psychology, land connection, and creative expression, to disrupt oppression, inspire connection, and create new systems.

Through coaching, curriculum, workshops, and partnerships with aligned organizations like Rooted Global Village, I help cultivate caring, conscious, and creative cultures for a liberated future.
