🌿 Inquiry
Gender Inquiry
Where did you first learn what it means to be a “man” or a “woman”?
What parts of yourself have you exiled in order to fit a gender expectation?
Sexuality Inquiry
Where does shame live in your sexual expression?
What messages did you receive about pleasure, desire, and the body?
How might your sexuality expand if it were guided by curiosity instead of fear?
🌸 Practice
Practice 1 – Embodied Touch
In privacy, touch your body. All over. Every part. You can also lie on the ground, roll around, and let the earth touch your body. Feel the temperature, the texture, the aliveness. Love up on yo’self.
Practice 2 – Dancing Beyond Gender
Put on a favorite dance song.
If you identify as a man, dance like a woman for a few minutes.
If you identify as a woman, dance like a man for a few minutes.
Then, for the last minute or two of the song, let your movements be free from any gender association. Just let your body be.
